House of KOBO
KOBO is a leather design house tinted with a rich history of three generations of cobblers, informed by the sharp dark industrial urban atmosphere and light curvature of nature.
Structured hand-sewn leather is shaped to hold the body of a soul. Each piece is crafted to frame anatomy at the edge of fashion and fetish. Desire plays with the relationship between body and skin.
“Each piece is a monument to the moment we had together. The moment leaves, but the memory remains in the skin.”
"Experiences in our skins become part of who you are"
Jakob is the hand behind House of Kobo, a visionary artisan focused on aesthetics. His family passed down a rich heritage of leathercraft, sculpting a lineage of creators.
Turning passion into path, remembering the familiar smell of leather hides, glue and machinery, ancestral memory guiding the precision knife, and relying on sacred geometry to create marvels from leather.
While exploring humanity, he was in awe of the freedom of body, movement and gender, viewing each person as a muse. Leaning into instinct, allowing passion and lust to guide the knife, he designs to embody self-empowerment.
